Picnic at Hanna's Cay

Limited Edition Giclee Print By Jill Tattersall 12" x 8"

I set this family picnic where Mulligan's now stands, at Hanna Cay, later mis-spelled Nanny Cay. This small island was once part of the larger one beyond it, and was originally named after the 18th century President of Tortola who owned that land at one time, so I was told by my late friend, Heraldo Charles - who also believed that Pegleg Cay was named after his neighbor, Miss Peggy. Silver coins found inscribed with a capital H were minted two hundred hers ago under the aegis of President Hanna.
