Her Majesty’s Prison
Built in 1774, the oldest Crown Building in Road Town. This prison was in continual use until 1995. Within the walls, murderers were hanged and buried, including Arthur Hodge, a plantation owner, who in 1811 was hanged for the murder of a slave.
